About TIFF to PDF

TIFF to PDF converts TIFF images, common for scanners and fax software, into a PDF. Each TIFF is converted without lossy compression, so scans keep their detail. Only the first page of a multi-page TIFF is converted.

How to convert TIFF to PDF

  1. Drop your TIFF files onto the page, or click to choose them. You can mix in other image formats too.
  2. Drag to reorder them and set the page size, orientation and margins.
  3. Choose whether to merge every image into one PDF, then click Convert to PDF and download.

What you can do with TIFF to PDF

  • Converts TIFF images through PNG, without lossy compression.
  • Page sizes: fit to image, A4 or US Letter.
  • Portrait or landscape pages, with no, small or large margins.
  • Combine every image into one PDF, or make one PDF per image.
  • Converts in your browser, so photos and scans are never uploaded.

Is it private?

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to a server. Your original file is never changed, and leaving or reloading the page clears it from the tool.

Frequently asked questions

Does it convert every page of a multi-page TIFF?

No. Only the first page of each TIFF is converted. If your scanner saved a whole document as one multi-page TIFF, export the pages as separate images first.

Will the scan lose quality?

No lossy compression is applied: TIFF images are converted to PNG before they're added, so the PDF keeps the scan's detail. High-bit-depth TIFFs (16 bits per channel) are reduced to standard 8-bit color.

Can I put several images in one PDF?

Yes. Turn on "Merge all images in one PDF file" and each image becomes a page in the order shown.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. The file is processed by your browser on your own device and is never uploaded. Closing or reloading the page clears it from the tool.
