About PNG to PDF

PNG to PDF turns PNG images, such as screenshots, diagrams and scanned pages, into a PDF. PNGs are added without lossy compression, so text and line art stay crisp, and you can combine several into one PDF. It runs entirely in your browser.

How to convert PNG to PDF

  1. Drop your PNG files onto the page, or click to choose them. You can mix in other image formats too.
  2. Drag to reorder them and set the page size, orientation and margins.
  3. Choose whether to merge every image into one PDF, then click Convert to PDF and download.

What you can do with PNG to PDF

  • Adds PNG images without lossy compression.
  • Page sizes: fit to image, A4 or US Letter.
  • Portrait or landscape pages, with no, small or large margins.
  • Combine every image into one PDF, or make one PDF per image.
  • Converts in your browser, so photos and scans are never uploaded.

Is it private?

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to a server. Your original file is never changed, and leaving or reloading the page clears it from the tool.

Frequently asked questions

Will my PNG lose quality?

No lossy compression is applied, so screenshots and text stay crisp. The one exception is a 16-bit-per-channel PNG, which is uncommon outside photo editing: it's reduced to standard 8-bit color.

Can I put several images in one PDF?

Yes. Turn on "Merge all images in one PDF file" and each image becomes a page in the order shown.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. The file is processed by your browser on your own device and is never uploaded. Closing or reloading the page clears it from the tool.

Is there a file size limit?

Each file can be up to 100 MB, and the files you add at once can total up to 200 MB. Large, image-heavy files take longer because they are processed on your own device.
